Ok, a friend just sent me some modified logos. His first remark when he saw the site a few days ago was the that logo faded into the site too much. He's a "brand identity specialist" for his design firm, as he says. He had a graphic designer he works with mock up a few logos.
Since the mod_perl community had a vote, I assume we are stuck with what we have.
Actually, I prefer what we have. I feel that these logos are too colorful. They stand out too much, and don't fit into the general look of the site. But of course, I'm no "brand identity specialist" :)
