Hmm, from this mapping the cross-reference table would need to have two
columns named 'item_id', that can't be it. Note that local/foreign for a
many-many mapping both refer to columns in the intermediate table. Please
review your mapping, referring to http://www.doctrine-
project.org/documentation/manual/1_0/?one-page#relations:join-table-
associations:many-to-many and report back here with new information.
