English:
The activation of this option makes it possible, by clicking on a formula

It sounds wrong to me. "außer Kraft setzen" means "override". So it should
be "impossible" instead of "possible".

I have tested this, and it does in fact mean "possible". That sentence
is talking about an experimental feature that makes it possible for
the user to directly edit the code in the preview window, not just in
the editor window. When "experimental features" are activated, it's
possible; when "experimental features" are not activated, it's not
possible. So this is overriding the default, which is for the
experimental features to not be activated.

It seems I need to explain in more detail, what the German text says.

First switch of "experimental features".

Start inserting a formula into a Writer document. Write a code like 'sum from {n=1} to 20 {n^2}' into the command window. Do not finish editing. Make sure that the 'Formula cursor' is on. 'Formula cursor' is an icon in the toolbar inside the formula editor.

You have got a formula preview. I mean the part where you see the Sigma sign Σ. In that preview single click on '20'. You notice a small dotted border around the '20'. And in addition, below in the command window, the cursor is set at '20'. Try it with single click on the n in n². So there is a deep connection from the preview to the command window. It is even deeper. Now double-click the '20'. The text '20' is highlighted in the command window and you can enter a change, e.g. 32 instead of 20, immediately without searching the right place in the command window.

This feature is "Möglichkeit, durch ein Klick auf ein Formelelement an die entsprechende Position im Markup-Code zu gelangen."

Now switch on "experimental features" and try the same as described above. You will notice, that this feature is gone. Therefore I have written "setzt die Möglichkeit außer Kraft".

I still think, that the English text is wrong.

Kind regards
Regina
