Hi :) That is the whole point. The learning curve and set-up is 1. register yourself at the wiki 2. find a page you want to edit 3. click on the Edit 'button' 4. write and edit in plain text and leave it to other people to worry about making things bold etc 5. click on "Save changes"
It's actually quite a lot harder to open LibreOffice to write a letter and most people here can cope with doing that.
