1,5 days and have already opened a ticket with them, no feedback yet. Is
this common lately?

I don't know if it's common, but I renewed a cert for a client in mid april and it got held up for review by geotrust. The client was in a hurry (their cert had expired 3 hrs earlier) so I called geotrust and after 10 mins on the phone they pushed it through.

When I asked why it was held up he gave a lame excuse about protecting people from phishing. This was a *renewal* of a cert that's been out there for a few years already and has been renewed each year.

If it's been a full day, I'd say give geotrust a call. You'll need the vendor order id from the rwi2 system. It's unacceptable for a certs product to get held up that long, especially since they are no longer the best or cheapest provider - service and functionality really have to shine.
