Let's take this offline, I'll email you to get your Geotrust support ticket from you and will check in with Geotrust about this. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Kai Schaetzl Sent: Wednesday, May 04, 2005 2:32 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [domains-gen] How long do cert renewals currently take? That's not been my experience and that's why I ordered the renewal that late. If I had known in advance ... Geotrust vets the business authentication > documentation (or duns number). "Documentation" was done via Duns no., so this shouldn't have been a problem for renewal. The original was issued within 2 (two!) hours. And the other renewals I did so far (has been a while since then) went quick as well. This one now took over two days (2 days and five hours) and I don't know whether I got it a few hours ago because of my inquiries (no reaction from Geotrust on two tickets yet) or in the normal course of action. As I see they expand for 13 months now. This allows for early renewal, of course, till then you had to wait until the latest in order not to loose too many paid days. > > If you haven't gotten a response from Geotrust about your certificate > by > today, contact our support team and they will escalate for you. I contacted them yesterday and they just said I have to take this up with Geotrust. However, I got a phone call from my rep today asking if I still need help.
