* Could we have the advance warning a tad bit earlier than two days?

* I hope this won't be the case for domains set to "let expire". They
have that setting for a reason.

* What are the consequences regarding domain grabbers that have
specialised on freshly expired domains? (Probably none, they already
have a lot of information, but it could be that it would make their live
even easier or the chance for a domain registered at Tucows could get up
because at the end of the period the domain would be actually reachable
where it wouldn't have been before. I'm no expert on this but I'd like
to hear some opinions.)

* Will there be a public backlash, similar to when Verisign introduced
"SiteFinder"?

* Will there be an effect on spam filters, that check for the existence
of a DNS-record?

* What will happen to mail sent to those domains? Suddenly there won't
be an MX record. Do mailservers react differently to domains with a DNS
entry but without an MX record than to those without one at all?

* What's the effect on search engines? Will they drop entries earlier
when encountering a 404 or when encountering no DNS entry?

* What will the different TTL settings on the nameserver entries be?

Thanks,

Arthur
