Hi,

This might be a solution in the meantime: If the domain is in your own 
reseller account, there's also an API command to query the order by 
order number, which would show you the status. I wouldn't generally want 
to rely on whois output in any case. Can't remember the command off the 
top of my head, but it should be in the docs.
