I still have a little recollection of the first concert I went to. I was
15 or 16 and it was the Doobs at Winterland in San Francisco back in 72 or
73. I'm not positive but I'm believe the line-up included Marty Balin
with a band named "Bodacious" opening, and then John Dawson & the boys from
Marin County, "The New Riders of the Purple Sage" , and the headlineing
Doobs finished it off. Was listenin to em before I went, and been listenin
ever since. Winterland has long since gone but it sure was an excellent
venue to see a concert if you had the chance. . . . 2 kids and 4 grandkids
later , I still have to ask . . . Where has the time gone ?
