Hi Miles,

 

How long is the gap? I would hazard a guess that because it's a "custom disc" it's been burned using "Track at Once" mode which automatically inserts a gap between tracks. This can be avoided when discs are burned  in "Disc at Once" mode.

 

Send it back and ask for it to be done again!

Has anyone else who got the 19 track "Custom Double Doobie Disc" noticed the same annoying thing I have?

The gaps between the live cuts.  What's that all about?  I know it isn't any sort of technical requirement.  If it were, then the Wildlife CDs would have had them too.

It's most aggravating in between Slack Key and SSML, when the last note of Slack Key actually comes at the very start of the SSML track.

I E'd IMIX to ask what the deal is.  Haven't gotten an answer yet.  I just hope that I understood right that the Live Millenium concert will be available later this fall on a regularly produced disc, as I would expect it to be free of spaces.
