Exactly, Lori, these are the individual mix and match cuts, and that's
basically what IMIX is all about. As we all know, this idea of downloading
music over the Internet is evolving so I'm sure it will improve. I think
it's cool that the Doobies have ventured into the leading edge with this and
the player skin. These CDs will be curious additions to our collections
down the road.
As for the four new songs, if this is the new Doobie sound, then bring it
on! The songs still have those tell-tale Doobie elements: great guitars, a
driving beat, and/or tremendous background vocals/harmonies. They are all
incredibly good. I have them in my head throughout the day. I have to
admit that the harmonies in the chorus of On Every Corner gave me the chills
when I first heard it. I marvel at how talented each member of the band is.
Sometimes it's beyond comprehension (haha)...

The same thing is happening here too. I was so bummed when Slack Key and
SSML.
It's the whole CD. It was actually exactly how the songs sounded on the
downloads that were on imix....same cuts in the same places.
Oh well, I'm just happy I got it. I don't know about you guys but, the 4
new songs give me goose bumps!!
