The "album" is a bootleg of the Doobies 1975 KBFH show. The show was
recorded in Memphis either 10/17/75 or 10/31/75 (I don't remember the exact
date) and was the kick-off of the Fall 1975 tour, "Midnight on the
Mississipp".

The line-up was Pat, Keith, John H., Jeff, Michael McD, and Tiran.

Michael took lead vocal dutites on "Eyes" & "Long Train", Tiran on "Road
Angel" (although he had sung lead on the song in concert even while Tommy
was still in the band", & Pat on "Rockin' Down the Highway", "China Grove",
and "Without You".

The best thing about this show is "China Grove". The pyrotechnics used
during the song fire a beat too late and throw everybody off. The Doobies
then improvise to end the song.

The album can be found under several different names, "Budokon Bruhaha",
"Long Train Runnin'", "Rockin' In Memphis", "Rockin' Down In Memphis", "What
a Long Strange Trip It's Been", and others...

"What a Long Strange Trip It's Been" features additional tracks from earlier
shows, including "Listen to the Music" featuring Tommy and "Crud Hunchery"
from 1972.

Subject: question

Hi guys, I got a real question for doobies fans, I've
got a live doobies album from sept 1975 intitled Long
Train Running, I Think is a pirate album from a record
company "Lobster Records", the doobie members at that
time were Tiran, Jeff Baxter,TJ,KK, JH & PS, however
the version of Long Train Runnin' is quite interesting
but the funny thing is that I think is Michael
McDonald in lead vocals.
Does anybody can give me a hint about it.
In the credits isn't mentioned about Michael McDonald.

Cheers

Carlos
