Hello everybody!

Haven't posted for a while, so thought I would join in on this one. I think
Gary and myself are the only UK fans to post - Brian where are you?.

I have just turned 44 and was raised in Liverpool (home of the Beatles), but
have been working/living in York for the last 5 years.
Got into the Doobies in '74 when I bought two re-issue singles, Long Train
Runnin' & Drift away (Dobie Gray - or is that Doobie Gray?). Anyway flipped
over LTR to be blown away by Without You - big fan ever since.

Managed to catch them at Reading Festival (1977) along with luminaries such
as Aerosmith, Thin Lizzy, Hawkwind etc. Lucky to see them twice during their
visit to UK in 1995, should've been at Bournemouth for the opening gig, but
my friend got dates wrong! - This tour seems to of put the Doobies off
appearing in UK EVER AGAIN!
Anyway, I also like reading History books, Liverpool Football Club (soccer),
running in 10k races and drinking beer.
Nice chatting to you all.

Cheers,

Syd
