Cut a short story long; I transferred the Image off the HP Mini using an SD
card. Neither the SD card or the USB drive booted. The Unetbootin doesn't
seem to be available for Linux and the windows version makes a windows disc,
which doesn't help.
So, to upgrade from Hardy to 9.10. At last my luck was in. When installling
the upgrade, it offers parallel installation with my trusty(but out of date)
8.04.
It is installing now.
I should get the HP Mini changed tonight.
BTW, the HP is an absolutely beutiful piece of kit. It iven has a brushed
metal keyboard.

Hello Archie,
I've got the HP Mini with Suse, but there is(obviously) no optical drive.
How do you put 9.04 onto it?
Simon

Hi Simon

I am composing this on my HP Mininote which I think is brilliant. It
came with Suse but works much better with Kubuntu 9.04. £153 is an
absolute bargain. Buy several and give them as Christmas presents.

Regards

Archie
