Agree Peter, I have a blancket, shovel, spare jacket and I've just
bought some 'AutoSocks' for the car. We were snowed in 3 times last
Easter in Switzerland. You can get snow chains etc from Rudds, they do
several types, chain and rubber 'chains' for all sorts of cars &
lorries. Before going last March I enquired on what we used to call
'Town & Country' tyres but could only get Michelin tyres at #10 - #15
more than normal ones. Will report on how effective these AutoSocks are
when I've used then (Wednesday, Thursday????)

(Lost the pound sign and seem to have a USA keyboard!!)
