Is there a simple way to write in-line replies in Thunderbird?
Clive has replied off list and I've managed to do it with this
message, but I aren't too happy about the way Thunderbird does this.
When I tried to reply to Ralph's original response, I ended up with
the threading being messed up; which is why I queried it.
I can do it, no problem. I don't know why yours might be different. I
have to keep typing to see if my response is single or double lines -
Ahh Single spacing.
Peter
Also, it appears to change the formatting from double-line spacing to
single line spacing for the reply text - any reason why?
Also, I prefer the '>'char for delineating the original text but I've
yet to find any setting relating to the format of Replies.
I prefer to format messages my way.
