There was a mistake in my previous message

It should be:

    options snd_hda_intel power_save=0

(options not option)

You can examine the current value of the power_save parameter with

    cat /sys/module/snd_hda_intel/parameters/power_save

If it isn't 0, then you could change it to a 0 temporarily, to see if
it makes a difference to the burping noises. I believe it should take
effect immediately.

    echo "0" | sudo tee /sys/module/snd_hda_intel/parameters/power_save

It might not actually solve the problem, of course.

I hope this helps more than it hinders!
