At this point, my ddeexec registry subtree is the same as yours, i.e. set for IE (pun intended :)), but I get a script error from Internet Explorer. How very odd...

As yet another interestng variation, I seem to recall my friend had problems even with the "correct" ddeexec key present, so maybe that's just a red herring.

Maybe we should contribute a patch for Mozilla Firefox ;)

Apparently there is a fix in the works [1], but it's due out for the 1.0 Beta, and god knows when that's going to ship.
