The problem with this is that they do not provide gradient scales or necessarily blend with the rest of the active task bar. XP defaults to using gradient bars, or via other 3rd party extensions on every Windows version you can do things with the taskbar that are just way beyond cool. I don't personally use them anymore ( http://www.stardock.com/ ), but I can see how visual people want to take complete control.
