I'm happy to see it move to C++, especially if it gives the 64-bit crowd (ME!!) 
the choice of 32-bit IE. 

I'd also like to see a Windows(vista) Gadget implementation of DQSD. This 
shouldn't be all that hard, just a gadget shell that then calls into the 
existing DQSD installation. With Windows 7 now in wide beta, those gadgets are 
no longer tied to the gadget bar, which is gone. Instead, they can float to 
wherever you want them. No more giving up tonnes of real estate for a couple of 
gadgets.
