Remember when running the t4X with R4? that the carrier will be offset about 1kc or more. I find it best to go split and use a freq. counter sniffing the coax line and set the T4X output to match the exact freq. If you don't some guys will complain about the quality of the signal and that's strictly because it's off freq.

Most of the PNW AMers meet on 3.870, and start getting on the air about 2 or 3 PM daily. Let me know if you want to set up a schedule some time. If the T4X doesn't quite work right, I can always use my TR-7 on AM which is my standard rig right now.
