I've always chuckled when I would set that tiny little 2A receiver next to a jumbo
transmitter of the same period. I was always afraid the jumbo transmitter wuz going
to fall on the tiny receiver and squish it :))))))))

Yes, it would have been nice if there had been a matching transmitter for the 2A, or
2B. I wonder if there had been any talk about that at the time. I never had a 2B.
I thought I had one sitting one the shelf until I went to sell it last week. I
snapped a photo, sent it to a potential buyer, and he points out its a 2A. :)))))
Well I'll be. All this time I thought I had a 2B sitting on the shelf :)))))

Yes, that 2C and 2NT are a sweet looking pair. I was a Novice when that setup came
out in 1967 or 1968. Drake never made a vfo for that pair either. You would have
thought they'd be following up with a vfo.
