I would start by looking at the output of U9034, which is the 7805 regulator that drives the DR-7 displays. This is the regulator that is connected to the four pin connector on the back edge of the little extension at the right-front corner of the board. There are also a couple of electrolytic caps (C9024 & 25) that are likely suspects. These are the two vertical caps just behind the four pin connector.
