[EMAIL PROTECTED] made an utterance to the drakelist gang ----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sad to hear of Donnie closing up shop. I'm sure we all appreciate the
service he has provided. Still, it is often easier to get parts for 30-40 year old
boatanchors than it is for the newer rigs.

In the course of rebuilding L4B and L7 power supplies, I have accumulated
enough stock of capacitors (higher capacity, smaller size than originals),
bleeders, diodes (higher current rating), diode boards, equalizing resistors for
diodes and capacitors, and external (silent) fans, for rebuilding 25 supplies.
I'm not likely to run out for some time so if some Drake enthusiasts have a
need for a "kit" of parts, please make it known either on the Drake reflector,
the Drake Technical Net, or the various swap nets. Hams helping hams is what it
is all about.

And if you have comments, suggestions, questions, etc. about the Drake Forum
at Hamvention 2008, please make them known.

Enjoy those Drakes!

Evan, K9SQG
