First time I've had a mic plugged into that thing in *years*.
Anyway, when PTT is pressed I hear a relay click (both on press and subsequently on release) but the rig remains in receive mode and I still hear signals on the band. Then, I noticed that in Tune I get no RF out. I'm a CW guy and I always tune up by pressing the key in CW mode. While fooling around with these oddities I noticed that *sometimes* if I rapidly switched from AM to CW to Tune that tune would work normally. But, only rarely. And never when switching from CW or SSB to Tune. Also, no VOX although I have it setup for CW use where it works fine. Bias is fine, I recently installed an AC4R kit. I also recently replaced the T/R relay (adding the resistor). And, the rig continues to work just fine on CW.. I thought I'd put it on the bench tonight -- anyone have any hints before I dig in?
