If anyone is interested, I have a Kensington Masterpiece power control center for sale for $40. It's too big for my new desk shelf. It has multi-stage surge suppression, EMI/RFI noise filtering and anti-static protection, 5 switches, 6 outlets, and modem/fax/DSL protection. It was originally designed for computer systems but it works well for any use. Here's a link to a pic.
