Not for the DR-7...  :)


The PC slot cover method is only recommended for the DR-7. It spreads the
lifting force over a wider area, and is easy to move along the edge of the DR-7
to get it where you need it as you lift the board up. The classic Drake card
puller *can* be used with the DR-7 by hooking it under the edges of the board,
but unless the ends of the hooks are covered with something (or filed perfectly
smooth), there is more of a tendency to scratch up the underside of the board
or maybe even cause damage to traces near the edge of the board.

Can't fault Drake for not thinking of it, since the PC hadn't been invented yet
when the 7-line came out.
