The temptation to solve the problem of the R7A has been very strong! I removed the cover and carefully removed the DR7 card, sprayed all the contacts on the connectors and de-oxidized the band change selector. After installing the DR7 card again the problem has been solved !!! Thanks to those who have given me advice and a special thanks to this really fantastic mailing list!
