The current status in CVS is: in 24bpp mode you always get 32bpt textures. With a 16bpp and 32bpt textures you need exactly the same amount of texmem but have a smaller frame buffer, back buffer and z-buffer. And I havn't heard anyone complain on dri-devel or dri-users about too little texmem on a 64 or 128 MB graphics card ;-) > > -Dieter > Felix __\|/__ ___ ___ ___ __Tschüß_______\_6 6_/___/__ \___/__ \___/___\___You can do anything,___ _____Felix_______\Ä/\ \_____\ \_____\ \______U___just not everything____ [EMAIL PROTECTED] >o<__/ \___/ \___/ at the same time! ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Visual Studio.NET comprehensive development tool, built to increase your productivity.
