My lockup with flightgear on the 9000 with 4.2.99 based tree and a recent DRM module.

I do wonder if the r200 driver doesn't need the recent r100 fix for DMA
buffer corruption (by setting MaxArrayLockSize).

I don't think so as locked arrays are always emitted as separate arrays, which have a maximum size less than the dma buffer size.
