Are you sure? The EMIT_ELT macro isn't being used any more & I'm just accessing dest directly, as in 'dest[offset] = elt'...
Everything I've tried so far (glxgears, armagetron, quake2, bzflag, morph3d) seems to work perfectly. Maybe the ugliness indeed is no necessary? :) Not that I understand how... *shrug*
What about things that were broken with the old version. Is there a list of test cases that we can run through?
