Well, it does make things "jerky". But it does not effect or reduce the frequency or severity of hard lockups. I finally had to remove these screensaver programs from my system. Though I love them, they ARE "really slick", but the 20th hard lock is enough. It is clear the radeon driver in 4.3.0 needs serious work.
