Hey all, it's great to hear that someone has finally made some progress with
this! I bought my laptop a couple of months ago, and have had to put up with
having windows on a partition! - Maybe I'll finally be rid of the curse! :)
Ok, my problem is that I can't seem to compile the kernel to include the agp
support (unless I have but just don't know it). I successfully patched the
kernel and saw the ati agp support feature which I turned on, but after
compiling and installing the kernel I didn't notice any changes from the
previous kernel I had installed. I've checked through the startup logs and
haven't seen and of the things like:

as previously mentioned. Or does this only appear after the xfree86 section of
the install has been completed??
I'm using the vanilla 2.4.21 kernel, and can't figure it out!
Thanks everyone for the time and effort you've all put in, I can't want to get
this going (and for full support to be accomplished).
