------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-07-08 00:47 ------- The problem was from me adding in ALI AGP support on accident as well as the ATI. But now I have a new problem, every time I try to start the X server with DRI enabled(I've used versions 4.3.99.8 as well as .10, with the same results) I get something like this (my logs have been erased since I've booted twice without DRI enabled)this (EE) Radeon(00): RADEONCPGetBuffer: timed out -1007 (EE) Radeon(00): RADEONCPGetBuffer: reset cp -1007 Over and over again, until I force my computer to shut down. I had over 30000 lines of that. I'm using kernel 2.6.0-test2 with XFre86 4.3.99.8 on my HP Pavilion ZE4145 with the ATI IGP320 I've patched the kernel with the agpgart patch. I've also patched Xfree86 with both the 2.6.0-test2 kernel patch and the ATI IGP chipset DRI support. rebuilt the whole package and installed it. When the kernel boots I get this happy message, :) Linux agpgart interface v0.100 (c) Dave Jones agpgart: Detected Ati IGP320/M chipset agpgart: Maximum main memory to use for agp memory: 379M agpgart: AGP aperture is 64M @ 0xd4000000 [drm] Initialized radeon 1.9.0 20020828 on minor 0 Serial: 8250/16550 driver $Revision: 1.90 $ IRQ sharing disabled I'll restart the X server with DRI enabled so I can show the exact error message. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.xfree86.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
