My radeon 9000 PCI (with 64megs ram) is a proper PCI card, my system is a celeron 500, 128megs of ram and an intel p2 chipset. I've tried to reconfigure and build DRI making sure there is no errors, and that options haven't been missed in my host.def. glxgears gives me 250fps avg. qw-client-glx gives me 31fps avg (used the config I used for my voodoo2 which turns off alot of eyecandy and switches to faster, not as appealing, rendering methods for improved performance).
