Like others have said, I also believe that we as an open source community have come a long way since the time Drill was incubated as an Apache project and have strongly demonstrated that as an ASF an incubator podling, Drill
* Is a worthy and healthy project; * Truly fits within the ASF framework;and * "gets" the Apache Way. Since inception to its first code drop to last few beta releases, the community has collaborated with ever increasing enthusiasm at each of these stages and for many of us, who picked up bits and pieces of ASF philosophy on the way, it has been one hell of a ride. Let's sail together towards graduation, which would be one among many milestones we would be crossing in coming future.
