To follow up, Oneiric, Squeeze and Centos 6 packaging now all work and
have been pushed to
lp:~drizzle-developers/drizzle/drizzle-7.1-packaging

Debian did not work out of the box, our startup routine has serious
real-world issues and I had to be very careful in the init script to
give parameters in a way that drizzled wouldn't abort on me. (No new
bugs filed as most have been filed earlier. A minor thing is that
drizzled --help doesn't show default/active values for all
parameters.)

Now that these work, I will try my luck with the PPA service tomorrow.
The RPMs are ripe for publishing as soon as I get a login and signing
key to the repository.
