Mark H. Wood commented on DS-1460 Add SOLR logging config file So, now that we can use the main DSpace log4j configuration for Solr, there comes the question of how to configure it. I'd suggest adding an appender to take all of the considerable output from Solr off to a separate file. I also like the suggestion to adjust the log level -- ordinarily we don't need the current level of detail.
