That's just not true. If you're running DSpace in the first place,
there's a good chance you're competent with maintaining a tomcat,
postgres, and java setup. There's still *plenty* of other software that
keeps the server ticking over that it could be useful to have support
for (or at least the peace of mind that comes from knowing it's there if
you need it).
