however, the login still gives this error:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No such column 'digest_algorithm'

Am now trying to limit the changes to the "[dspace-dir]/webapps" directory as
rebuilding deleted all my customisations. Am also suspecting
<aspect name="E-Person" path="resource://aspects/EPerson/" /> in
[dspace-dir]/config/xmlui.xconf is not commented out.
Further will be great.
