i build dspam 3.6.8 and 3.8.0 on slackware 11 (-current) with 5.0.37
(tarball, self compiled).
works good :)

same on debian 3 (dspam 3.6.8/3.8.0 and mysql 5.0.26 / 5.0.37 from source)
