That was to test the Open G2 with the ICOM repeater controller hardware. We stopped the ICOM dsgwd and dsipsvd on one of their ICOM gateways/repeaters and see if we can talk to the ICOM repeater controller hardware.
The European ICOM TRUST server does not come into play. Do you understand ? Their European ICOM TRUST server has 404 DSTAR gateways in the SYNC_GIP and 7800 registred radio users in the SYNC_RIP table. Again, the TRUST server does not come into play. The Open G2 must handle the local ICOM repeater-controller hardware correctly. It does not care which TRUST it talks to, as long as the remote TRUST server is ICOM.
