I found favorites.opml in prefs. It's only 1 kb so I assume there's nothing in there.
Would be the newly created one.
What do you think of my using one of the un-delete programs to try and find the old favorites.opml file?
Give it a try. Make a copy of your new file first. Just in case.
What do you think of my idea to restore via Windows 7 to a year ago, copy that old favorites.opml file on a thumb drive, then restore via Windows 7 back to now, and put the old favorites.opml in place of the new one which only has 1 kb in it?
I'm not familiar with Windows ability to move back and forth in time. But in theory this certainly would be an option.
