.sit files are themselves compressed by Stuffit so if the decompressor is compressed
you have a problem. You have to have some working decompressor already on your
machine. Maybe someone can give you a working copy on a floppy. You may want to get
Stuffit Lite, it is cca 750 kB, it may be able to decompress the installer. It is an
old program but still may be available on shareware sites.
