If you have a Dock with an internal hard drive you could run both!!
My dock and 8.1 and the Duo 280c's have 7.6.1. When I dock I use the 8.1
but on the ROAD Give me 7.6.1......

My favorite, and one reason why I went from 8.1 back to 7.6.1 on my 280 is
that PopUp Folders puts a folder icon in the menubar, with the folder in
the System, into which you can alias anything you want handy access to, and
then when you hilite it in the Menubar, you can add a command key. So all
my internet apps, and frequently used stuff is there. Not using GoMac,
Control Strip, PowerBar anymore.
