Yes, that sounds like microsoftpecker design (sorry; cheap, easy shot)
The worst I saw was a "Shut Down Computer" default when you hit
Command-B with a Presentor dock plugged in. One time I got a blank
dialogue box with a blinking ">" sign. I could type letters after it.
It looked like a ResEdit thing, which I don't have. What the heck was that?
