There were actually two books devoted to those practical jokes. "Stupid
Mac Tricks" I and II. The INIT you are thinking of popped up a dialog that
said somehting like "Format Hard Drive?" with an "OK" and a
"Cancel" button. If you tried to click 'Cancel', the button would run from
the mouse. If you clicked "OK" the dialog would dismiss.
