It's simple. You need Torx T-8 screwdriver. Turn your Duo upside down and
you should see 4 screws. You only need to remove 3 of them so leave the one
closest to the front alone. Turn the Duo back right side up and open the
screen. The keyboard should come out easily. Just unlatch the 2 ribbon
cables on the motherboard and it's out. I'm willing to bet your keyboard is
the original Rev A.

IIRC you can't use Open Transport on that Duo, only Classic Networking. And
you're missing 11 more files because those 11 are made invisible.

No unless you have the correct Duo Enabler extension. The original 7.1 that
came with your Q700 was the first of System 7.1 and doesn't have any System
Enablers.

You can try but you will need to set your Duo networking to Classic mode
rather than Open Transport. I suspect you might want to consider a clean
install of System 7.5.3 (available for free off Apple site) and 7.5.5
updater.
