Actually, according to Ryan Rempel, the next XPostFacto should support the 6500. Having said that, I wouldn't lose any sleep over retrofitting MacOS X on any Apple-unsupported machine unless you already have a G3 or G4 upgrade and lots of RAM, and you cannot go beyond 128MB on the 6500.
