I suspect it is the behind the scenes draconian type of thing that makes us
buy new hardware every couple of years.  This is right up there with iTunes
1.1 working with OS 8.5 with a little patch.  Heck, iTunes was just
SoundJam with a little more code to "marry" it to OS9.  Same with iDisk on
older systems.  No problem with the right (HARD to find) revision of
AppleShare.

Thanks for the encouragement.  All of my pieces are in place, I just need
an X CD to set the whole thing in motion.

I need to try to drag this back to topic...Has anyone gotten X to run on
any 2400c on this list yet without tons of $K?
